On February 21, 2025 Glenn M. Ryan, Jr., the world’s most devoted fan of the band Toto, passed on into eternal consciousness. He can now explore the cosmos, untethered by the body that challenged him for decades.
Glenn is survived by his brothers Don Giandomenico, Dan Giandomenico, Brian Ryan, Kirk Ryan and Erik Ryan and his sisters Beth Zinman, Nancy Ryan and Katie Ryan.
Glenn is predeceased by his parents, Glenn M. Ryan, Sr. And Catherine L. Zinman, as well as the love of his life, his wife Lorraine J. Ryan and their beautiful daughter Celina Joy Ryan.
He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews including Taylor Giandomenico, Jasmine Rienstra, Gabriella Gentek, Owen Massey, Colin Massey, Dan Schmidt and Declan Giandomenico. In addition to his family, Glenn leaves behind several dear friends whom he loved deeply.
Glenn was a science fiction, movie and music aficionado. He was an entrepreneur at heart whose time in business included being a limousine driver, a talent manager, a personal chef and a travel and entertainment blogger. With a degree in communications from Temple University he went on to study Film Production and Directing under industry veterans in Hollywood. The instability of his early life led him to enlist in the United States Navy where he would be a cook, nurturing his fellow enlistees through his love of sharing good food.
It would be his love for music, though, that would change his life. Glenn met his future wife, Lorraine, while singing karaoke. From the moment they met they were inseparable, until Lorraine suddenly passed away in October of 2019. Along the way, they truly LIVED life together. Sadly, they would lose their only child, Celina, after only 37 days of life.
Glenn battled multiple health issues for many years and in his final days was content to finally be reunited with his beautiful wife and daughter.
